Metamorphosis

Celia is seriously addicted to art.

This Saturday, I heard her little feet hit the floor, then heard the stritch scratching of crayons on paper.

Soon she had a whole series completed.

First, how a caterpillar changes into a butterfly.  At first, the butterfly is scared to use its’ wings, so it has to crawl up onto the branch before flying.

Next, a tadpole changing into a frog. A frog with a HUGE tongue.

Then she ran out of things that actually change into something else, so she went with things that grow.

A tiny small baby, growing into an old woman with a cane:

And a lion cub growing into a huge, angry, red eyed lion:
