Duda Farms

Celia’s class had the obligitory fall field trip to a pumpkin farm.  We went to a new one this year, and I really really liked it.  Much smaller than the more commercial touristy one that we’ve gone to in the past.

This one has an actual pumpkin patch from whence to pick your pumpkins (the other just purchased crated of pumpkins and scattered them in a yard for you to ‘pick’).

They also had some showcase big pumpkins for the kids to check out:

And a little playset that the kids all flocked to:

Then we got to go on a hayride up to the pumpkin patch. (Note the awesome Oliver Twist fashion of Celia’s little friend!)

She checked out lots of pumpkins….

Then finally found just the right one!

A cute little corn maze that the kids loved:

And a great big maze that NO ONE was able to find the exit for!

We finished up the day with a campfire lunch of hot dogs and s’mores. All the kids seemed to have a great time.
