Henny has her say.

We’ve gotten really lucky with our chicks so far. They are all rather well behaved, quite girls. The dining room (where the brooder is currently housed) is right beside our bedroom, and I was a little worried that they would keep me up. Honestly though, you barely hear them.

Until someone gets cold, or gets pushed off her perch, or is feeling ignored and needs to have her say. They she’ll stand as tall as she can, stick her beak up in the air, and CHIRP CHIRP CHIRP for all she’s worth.

I took some cute Easter pics of the girls all nestled in an Easter basket amid colored paper sizzle grass. Henny didn’t think it was cute or fun at all. She was rather indignant about being plucked from the warm comfy brooder with her sister and put in this too bright rainbow basket by herself.
