Crafts with Grandma

Grandma Debi had an idea for a cool craft to try out, so after a trip to the craft store for supplies, Celia got to play with clay.  It’s this Crayola air clay stuff…it’s really light like foam…but neat.  Not at all messy like playdoh.  Spendy though.

Anyway, we were making beads.  Started off as Celia and Grandma making beads, but soon the adults had to play too.  I stuck with fancy bead making:

My brother made animals and flowers

And Celia made a little of everything. All in all, we ended up with quite a lot of stuff, and a few cute necklaces!

I also found one of those paint by color type things on a clearance rack and Celia has been having a bunch of fun ‘painting’. Why don’t the make many of these anymore? They were impossible to find and she loves them!
