Friday Notes
Since BabyCenter debuted it’s newest platform, I’ve had lots of fun sending notes to all my BabyCenter friends on Friday. They seem to be enjoyed, so I want to share them with my blogging family as well. If you know me in both places, my apologies….you may want to skip Fridays. Or else put up with a double dose of my silliness.

Aaaaaaaaaannnnnd…..It’s WV day!
That’s right, on this day in 1863 the gret stet of West Virginie decided we dint wanna be no rebel successionists, like Virgina, and formed our own state. Whoopie. Now we have almost no electoral votes and basically don’t count in a general election. ‘Course, it also happens to be the bestest state in the nation with the 4 seasons, low cost of living, and buckwheat cakes….so sorry to those of you who don’t live here.
I’m celebrating by going barefoot all day. Well, except I had to go to the Walmarts this morning to get supplies for the frolf party (calm down, you didn’t miss frolf day. DS just decided to have a frolf party for his birthday) so I had to put something on my feet. I went with flip flops and showed off my chipped toenail polish. I think that was an adequate substitute.
Other notable events this weekend. Tomorrow is the first day of summer (and Dr. Pepper’s birthday, betcha know how to celebrate those!) and Sunday is Take Your Dog to Work Day. So, if you work, you better take your dog. And if you’re a churchgoer, you better expect to see rover right up there on the pulpit beside Pastor Bob. Don’t discriminate against the canine species, yo!
