Out of the mouthes of babes…
Celia is in a very pleasant stage right now, but some of the things she says just crack me up.
First, when laying on the floor with Chris watching MythBusters. I asked him to put her to bed since it was bedtime…and she was looking really sleep. She rolled over, looked at me and sighed…
“Not NOW mama. I’m watchin’ Miffbustas”
While rocker her to sleep last week
“Ima boy now. Ima gonna pee standin up!”
This morning
“Bennie! Stop wikin’ ma butt! Wikin’ butts is WUDE!” (Licking butts is rude, in case you didn’t get that)
And this morning, she picked up her Elmo cell phone:
“Hewo, Elmo? Elmo, can you come over to my house and see what wrong wif ma mama when is is puttin’ me in tome outs all da time. Okay. Good. See you in a few minutes.”
After that little gem, she looked at my guiltily and said “Umm, I was just callin’ Heaver”
Funny thing is, I don’t think she’s been in time out in well over a week!
