Dietary Habits of the Furry and Busy
What Bennie has had to eat today:
1 cup Iams dog food.
1 wooded fish
1 foam paint brush
An apple
3 Hershey Kiss Wrappers
Small pile of hair*
Scattering of Spaghettios leftover for the girl.
A black crayon
Half a red crayon (that should look good coming out)
What I’ve had to eat today:
1 Medium Vanilla Mystic Chai**
1 Slice pizza
Several (25) Hershey Kisses
2 Apples
1 Bag of Pop Secret Homestyle Popcorn (minus the few pieces those naughty kids stole from me)
Please pray that we both have more willpower tomorrow!
*Yeah, I know hair sounds gross. Okay, it is gross. But my hair was really shaggy, and I had to cut it this morning….and I swept the cuttings up into a pile, realized we were supposed to be out the door 5 minutes ago, thought to myself “Crap! I’ll get that the very minute we get home” and promptly forgot about it until Celia screamed “Mudder! Bennie ate some hair! I fink he’s gonna peeeeuke!” Bennie did NOT puke, just hacked a little.
**Mystic Chai is the bestest stuff in the whole wide world. You can get it at Sams Club….or frequent so.zo and get it there, which is WAY cooler. And that’s what I do because while it’s soooooo yummy, I don’t even want to know how many calories are in it. I don’t need a canister of that at my house. I’ll just have it at so.zo and at church.
I am SO glad I do not have a dog. I can’t imagine he will be feeling well…

Him? What about me? I feel like crap. It’s midnight now, and I’m starving, so I’m debating between pb&j and chilli.
He feels just fine. Right after I finished writing this up, he tried to eat a cat. They cat was not down with that, and did her best to claw his (extremely vulnerable bug eyes) out.

Hope the doggie is fine.
We have a sheltie with a cast iron stomach. One Christmas he ate a candy cane full of peanut butter cups, except, you know, dogs can’t open things, so he at the plastic candy cane and the foil wrappers too.
Then there was the year he ate the cucumber melon B&BW gift set. It had sparkly stuff in it …
